Lauri is an attorney, mediator and facilitator with a diverse civil practice. She is admitted to practice in Maine's federal and state courts, as well as in California and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Lauri's professional interests and concentrations include health care, constitutional, land use and family law. In addition to counseling clients and maintaining an active litigation practice, Lauri regularly mediates for the Maine Judicial Branch's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. Lauri received her J.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of California, Davis and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut's Honors Scholar Program. She is a member of Gignoux Inn of Court, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the New England Association of Dispute Resolution Professionals and the American Bar Association's Health Care Law, Family Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections. Before joining the
firm, Lauri clerked in the Maine Superior Court for Chief Justice Thomas
Humphrey, Justice Nancy Mills and Justice Robert Crowley. She also worked
as a facilitator and researcher for one of the country's leading public
policy consensus building institutes and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer
in Central America. She is married and has two young children. .
