John A. McArdle, III

John A. McArdle, III joined Kelly, Remmel & Zimmerman in 2007. John graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, in 1984 magna cum laude and Suffolk University Law School in 1987 where he was the Executive Editor of the Law Review. John then practiced at the firm of Sugarman & Sugarman in Boston before returning to Maine in 1989 as a senior associate in a prominent trial practice firm and then opening his own practice. For over twenty years John has focused his practice on complex personal injury and professional liability in Maine and Massachusetts. John has considerable experience in technical medical and catastrophic injury cases. John is a graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College and a member of the Million Dollar Advocate's Forum.

John is a member of the Maine Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of Catastrophic Injury Lawyers, and a member of the Professional Negligence Section of the American Association for Justice. John is on the Executive Board of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and is slated to be President of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association in 2011-2112. John is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Maine and the State of Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. To foster understanding of the legal system to the public, John has served as the coordinator for The Peoples Law School in Portland. John is married and lives in Falmouth.
