U. Charles ("Chuck") Remmel, II is a graduate of Yale University (1966) and the University of Michigan Law School (1969). His practice is very broad and combines multiple disciplines to the advantage of his clients' needs. Among those clients have been banks and banking associations, large and small businesses, medical and accounting groups, land development entities, and insuring entities. This broader reference can assist clients with all aspects of their commercial needs, including banking, transactional and restructuring requirements.

Chuck continues to teach courses at the University of Maine School of Law, and presented seminars and courses for trade, legal and industry associations in a number of fields. Chuck also has the ability to present his clients' position in the courtroom, and has been involved with and written about many of the leading cases in Maine which have defined the ground rules for business transactions and responsibilities. Chuck is a member of the Maine Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the Maritime Law Association and is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Maine as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Chuck is married to Kathy Remmel, the principal of the middle school at Waynflete School, a private school in Portland, Maine. He has two grown children.
