Emily Atkins

Emily joined KRZ as an associate in 2016. She focuses her practice on commercial and corporate matters as well as real estate and immigration. Emily, a native of Maine, earned her B.A. in philosophy from Boston College in 2011. After college, she served in the Peace Corps as a health education teacher in Moldova.

In 2016, Emily received her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school she was an articles editor on the Maine Law Review and a student member of the Edward Thaxter Gignoux Inn of Court. Emily also held a judicial fellowship with the Portland District Court and was a student attorney with the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office.

Emily is a member of the Maine Women’s Fund Grant Committee and lives in Portland.
