Maine Bike Crash Attorneys
KRZ’s Bike Law Practice is led by Lauri Boxer-Macomber, an avid rider, a leader in the field of bicycle advocacy and an experienced litigator and personal injury attorney. Lauri understands that bicycle crashes are not bicycle accidents. She regularly represents racers, commuters, recreational riders, triathletes, new Mainers and families of bicyclists, pedestrians and others who have been injured or lost their lives because of negligent motorists, dangerous infrastructure and/or unsafe road conditions.
Lauri is a proud member of Bike Law USA, a national network of independent bicycle lawyers and law firms who share a common approach to the law and are dedicated to helping cyclists. In addition, Lauri is on the Board of Directors for the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, chairs the Coalition’s Policy and Legislation Committee and helps to facilitate the Coalition’s Law Enforcement Collaborative. She is also member of the American League of Bicyclists.
Other KRZ trial attorneys supporting the firm’s Bike Law Practice include Terry Duddy, a recreational rider and former president of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and Tim Norton, a corporate attorney for several bicycle-related businesses.
Our attorneys’ combined riding experience and legal experience in personal injury, insurance, employment, business and health care law allows us to take a comprehensive approach to our clients’ cases and handle many of the complex issues that often arise in bike law cases. This is why other attorneys often refer their bike crash cases to KRZ’s Bike Law Practice.
